WHAT I TREAT
My Areas of Focus
Autoimmunity, digestion, perimenopause and menopause care, hypermobility, heart health, and aging can look like separate problems. In my experience, they rarely are, and untangling how they connect is the part of this work I find most meaningful.
My care works alongside your primary care provider and specialists, not in place of them, and every plan is guided by the WholeHealth Model.
Please review the conditions I treat prior to joining the interest list or scheduling a visit if you are a new patient.
Conditions I Treat
01
Autoimmune conditions
Living with an autoimmune condition often means managing more than one system at once. I work alongside your rheumatologist, endocrinologist, or primary care provider, looking at the foundations, like digestion, nutrition, stress, and sleep, that shape how you feel day to day.
COMMON CONCERNS: Celiac disease, Psoriasis, Inflammatory Bowel Disease
02
Digestive health
In the WholeHealth Model, digestion is a starting point, not a side issue. Together we look at what you eat, how you digest it, and what else in your life may be playing a part in imbalanced health.
COMMON CONCERNS: SIBO, GERD, Chronic Constipation, IBD
03
Perimenopause & menopause care
These transitions can touch sleep, mood, energy, metabolism, and more. I help you understand what's changing and weigh your options, with a plan that fits your values and your health history.
COMMON CONCERNS: Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) guidance, weight management, bone, muscle, skin, and hair health
This care does NOT include DUTCH hormone testing.
04
Healthy aging
Aging well is about focusing on the best evidence and steady attention to the basics: movement, nutrition, sleep, relationships, and purpose. My board certification in adult-gerontology care shapes this work.
COMMON CONCERNS: Cognitive support, Osteoporosis prevention
05
Heart disease prevention
Prevention starts with understanding your own risk, from family history to blood sugar balance to stress. We build a plan you can sustain, in partnership with your other providers.
COMMON CONCERNS: Lipoprotein(a) testing, Metabolic syndrome, calcium score scan
06
Hypermobile EDS
hEDS can affect many systems at once and is often misunderstood. I bring time, curiosity, and a whole-person view, with care that works alongside your specialists.
COMMON CONCERNS: Comorbidity management, POTS support.
NOT THE RIGHT FIT
Conditions I don't treat
Some conditions call for specialized care beyond what my practice provides. If one of these is your main concern, you deserve a clinician who focuses on it, and I'd rather you know now than after your first visit.
Active cancer
Complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS)
Epilepsy
Lyme disease
Mold-related illness
Heavy metal toxicity
